Jamnagar is a historic city in Gujarat’s Saurashtra region, known for its royal heritage, lakes, temples, traditional markets and proximity to the Gulf of Kutch. Founded in the 16th century by Jam Rawal, the city developed as the capital of the former princely state of Nawanagar. Today, Jamnagar offers travellers a combination of urban heritage and nature.
