Sea conditions vary, and an attractive beach is not automatically suitable for swimming. Follow local guidance, observe restrictions and choose properly organised activities suited to your experience.
Leave shells and marine life where they belong and take your litter away. The quieter pleasure of an island visit is closely connected to keeping its shoreline and surrounding waters in good condition.
